NVIDIA Shield Tablet K1 Update Android Marshmallow 6.0 – When NVIDIA reinvented Negros shield into shield Tablet K1 about a month ago and was released on the market, it’s a promise that even though tablets shipping with Lollipop, an update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes before the end of the year. A month has passed and it seems that NVIDIA will make good on his promise as an update looks is in the final testing phase.

NVIDIA shield Tablet K1 was introduced in November as a cheaper version of the shield of the new tablet with some minor changes. NVIDIA Digital Marketing Senior Manager, Wil O’Neal, said in the video that the shield of the Tablet the tablet will be among the first to receive updates K1 with Marshmallows. The company posted a sneak peak video on Marshmallows on Tablet K1, showing off the new app permission, now on tap, a vertical Launcher drawer and search bar, cloud gaming service own GeForce now, and focus instead on the fact that the Marshmallows will let you adopt a MicroSD card as internal storage for your tablet. Only NVIDIA-specific other than mentioned in the video is a new camera application that uses the processor to add additional K1 and effects to your photos.

Only a few features of 6.0 is now on tap, beefier version from Google now, new application license system and support microSD card improved. As well as the stock Android 6.0 features, there are also some extra from Nvidia. This includes the improvement of the new camera app powered by Tegra K1 chipset. Eager gamers will also appreciate the GeForce now optimization.
